I condensed a three-day bank lenders' workshop into a one-day interactive session with real-world projects. Key reading materials were flipped, and compliance data was gathered in real-time.
Escape Room Induction
I replaced a traditional PowerPoint presentation and workbook induction with an engaging and interactive digital escape room experience that incorporates key knowledge into a variety of puzzles. This innovative solution effectively transformed passive learning into an active and memorable experience that encouraged participation, team work and critical thinking.
Active reading learning journal
I transformed a ‘read this during the workshop’ reading into a series of engaging activities, reflective journaling prompts, and ‘actionable next steps’ prompts to cultivate an active and reflective journaling experience. This approach encouraged learners not only to process what they learned but also to share their insights with their line managers, to foster more collaboration as well as personal growth and development.
Multi-modal ‘Pick a Path’
Solution
I created an engaging pick-a-path digital whiteboard adventure as a way to engage with a series of online modules. Learners could complete the modules at their own pace and had choices for assessment. This design catered for learning preferences and is an example of Universal Design for Learning strategies in action.
